[LbNA] Thursday: 19th Oregon box on Mt. Tabor

From: (Letterboxr@aol.com) | Date: 1999-07-08 17:04:00 UTC-04:00
Dear Friends,
I climbed to the summit of another extinct volcano today. Mt. Tabor is the
site of a really cool park just east of the "neo-hippie" Hawthorne district
of downtown Portland. It is very popular due to it's beautiful forested
scenery and it's leash-optional ordinances for dog walkers.

I placed a new letterbox at the summit. Clues can be found at:

Peace and Love,
Der Mad Stamper

Mitch, You Rule!!! Kevin and I have thought putting boxes on Mt. Tabor as
well, as we live near it. I'm going to go find your box this evening (don't
come and spy, though!!!) Yahoo!!! Gee, I'll bet that you wish I'd hurry up
and hide some boxes so you have some to search for other than your own!!!
P.S. Don't let the name fool you to all you non-Portlanders. It's not really
a mountain...it's little and has playgrounds for the kids on it!
Cara
